We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic development team. Candidate with strong profi ciency in Python, and a proven track record of developing robust APIs using Flask. In this role, you will collaborate closely with front-end developers to design and implement seamless APIs for our applications, ensuring effi ciency, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Flask to support front-end applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs effectively and ensure smooth communication between systems.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines on GitHub to streamline the development and deployment process.
• Use Git for version control, ensuring code quality and collaboration within the team.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Work on extending and enhancing existing systems and APIs to support new functionalities.

1. Application Development

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable using Flask.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end systems.
• Implement business logic in backend processes.
• Work on extending and enhancing existing systems and APIs to support new functionalities

2. Testing and Debugging

• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

3. Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and frontend developers, to deliver features.
• Use Git for version control, ensuring collaboration within the team.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

4. Database Management

• Design and optimize database schemas.
• Write queries and manage interactions with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL,) and NoSQL databases.

5. Documentation

• Maintain technical documentation for code, libraries, and APIs.
• Provide clear notes and instructions in the form of comments in the code for future maintenance and updates.

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Flask.
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Experience with Node.js is a plus.
• Understanding of modern API development practices, including RESTful principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
