We're looking for 2 Python Developers to work within the Risk Systems team, which is part of the RISK Global Services department within our clients’ Risk function. With Over 300 people worldwide, RISK Systems works in a fully Scaled Agile setup, and candidates will be part of a team following SAFE agile practices, working closely together with other locations. 

Primary goal will be to continually improve the core framework used for data integration and calculation of Market and Counterparty Risk Metrics.

 Main Tasks:

• Primary goal will be to continually improve the core framework used for data integration and calculation of Market and Counterparty Risk Metrics.
• Innovation is a key element of Risk Systems, so candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate in cross-team innovative projects and propose initiatives aligned with our top innovation priorities
• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code                                      
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems                 
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Ensure code documentation and organization
• Incrementally deliver applications to meet dynamic customer requirements                                                                  
• Resolve incidents in a production environment
• Collaborate with different stakeholders in the solution of problems and blockages

Technical Skills:

• Python                               
• Experience with SQL and any industry standard relational database                                     
• Demonstrable ability to write clean and readable code                              
• Solid understanding of both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms                                             
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
