We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to design and build scalable backend services, APIs and integrations for our products and client platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain backend applications and RESTful/GraphQL APIs in Python.
- Build services using Django, Flask or FastAPI following clean architecture principles.
- Design database schemas and write optimised queries for PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
- Integrate third-party services, payment gateways and internal systems.
- Build asynchronous and event-driven components using Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka or Redis.
- Write unit and integration tests and take part in code reviews.
- Deploy and run services on cloud platforms using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design decisions.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional Python development.
- Strong experience with Django, Flask or FastAPI.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with REST API design, authentication (OAuth2, JWT) and security best practices.
- Hands-on with Git, Docker and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures and multithreading/async programming.
Good to Have:
- Microservices and Kubernetes experience.
- Exposure to data processing (Pandas, PySpark) or AI/LLM integrations.
- Experience with serverless (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Basic frontend knowledge (React or Angular).
Skills Required
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience
- Strong experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
