The Role
Build and maintain Python backend applications, REST APIs, PostgreSQL databases, enterprise integrations, automation and workflow systems. Implement authentication, performance optimization, testing, deployments, CI/CD, and production support. Collaborate through sprint ceremonies, code reviews, bug fixes, root-cause analysis, and preventive improvements while supporting construction management and renewable-energy platforms.
Summary Generated by Built In
We are hiring a Python Developer to build the backend services powering enterprise construction management and renewable-energy platforms- REST APIs, integrations with enterprise systems such as Primavera P6 and SAP, and the automation, reporting and workflow layers our clients rely on
daily.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Python (FastAPI/Django).
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases -schemas, performant queries, versioned migrations.
• Integrate applications with third-party and enterprise platforms: scheduling (Primavera P6), SAP,
enterprise document management systems, SSO providers.
• Develop automation, reporting and workflow solutions (scheduled jobs, notification/escalation
engines, document generation).
• Implement robust authentication/authorization, input validation, logging and audit trails.
• Ensure performance and scalability — profiling, caching, async processing and queue-based
workloads.
• Own deployments with the team: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, UAT-to-production environment
management, migration scripts with dry-run discipline.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, PR reviews and bug bashes; write unit/integration tests that
support the QA automation suite.
• Support production issues with structured RCA and preventive fixes.
