Python Developer (SQL and Selenium Automation)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with a strong background in Python and SQL. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather and analyze requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Perform database design and optimization to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Category-wise Technical Skills:

Core Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficient in Python programming.
• Database Management: Strong experience with SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
• Frameworks and Libraries: Familiarity with frameworks such as Django or Flask (if applicable).
• Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.

Additional Skills:

• Data Analysis: Experience in data manipulation and analysis using Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• API Development: Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration.
• Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) can be a plus.
• Testing: Understanding of software testing methodologies and experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, unittest).

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience in developing applications using Python and SQL.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is preferred.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Collaborate with team members to define project requirements and specifications.
• Develop and implement software solutions and features.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
• Document software processes and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Relevant certifications in Python, SQL, or software development methodologies (optional but preferred).
