Python Developer with IoT, Blockchain, and Cloud Expertise

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled and adaptable Python Developer to support the development of innovative software solutions across multiple emerging technology domains such as mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain. This role involves designing, coding, and supporting applications that leverage Python, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset to deliver impactful solutions aligned with organizational strategies.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Proficiency in Python (latest stable version) for application development and scripting

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) supporting IoT, automation, or blockchain solutions

  • Knowledge of API integration and data exchange standards (REST, JSON, XML)

  • Familiarity with development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence

  • Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum methodologies

• Preferred:

  • Experience with automation frameworks or testing tools (e.g., pytest, Robot Framework)

  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

  • Exposure to blockchain technologies, smart contracts, or IoT platforms

  • Experience working with databases (relational and NoSQL) for data management

Overall Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and design scalable solutions using Python.

• Develop technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and documentation for new features and system enhancements.

• Leverage emerging technologies such as IoT, blockchain, and cloud services to build innovative solutions supporting business goals.

• Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code, and perform comprehensive testing to ensure robustness.

• Integrate applications, APIs, and services across platforms to enable seamless data exchange and process automation.

• Support deployments, configuration, and system integrations in cloud or hybrid environments.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging frameworks, and evolving standards to recommend new tools and practices.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvements.

• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation, fostering best practices and innovation.

• Support experience in enterprise or innovative environments supporting rapid deployment cycles.

• Industry experience supporting digital initiatives in finance, healthcare, or manufacturing is advantageous.

• Alternative: Extensive practical experience in developing scalable solutions leveraging Python and new technology stacks.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, enhance, and support Python-based applications, scripts, and workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that incorporate IoT, blockchain, and cloud technology.

• Create technical documentation, API specifications, and system architecture diagrams.

• Automate data collection, processing, and testing workflows across distributed platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, security concerns, and performance bottlenecks.

• Support deployments and configuration changes in cloud and hybrid environments.

• Stay updated on emerging trends and share insights to improve solution architecture.

• Participate in technical reviews, code audits, and continuous integration processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 4+ years of professional experience developing solutions leveraging Python in enterprise and emerging tech environments.

• Experience with cloud platforms, IoT integrations, and blockchain solutions is highly desirable.

• Certifications in cloud computing (AWS, Azure) or IoT are a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic, innovation-driven projects.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
