Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Python Engineer to lead and contribute to the development of innovative technology solutions leveraging emerging fields such as AI, blockchain, and IoT. This role involves guiding project teams, evaluating new technological advancements, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The successful candidate will play a vital role in aligning cutting-edge technology initiatives with organizational goals, thereby driving business growth and operational excellence.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Extensive experience in Python programming, with solid understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.

  • Knowledge of modern development frameworks and libraries in Python related to AI/ML, blockchain, or IoT.

  • Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for deploying, managing, and scaling applications.

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices.

• Preferred:

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

  • Background in blockchain development or IoT device integration.

  • Knowledge of data management and analytics tools.

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions utilizing emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and IoT.

• Guide and mentor team members to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Evaluate new technology trends and suggest innovative implementations to improve business processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with organizational strategies and requirements.

• Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain best practices and code quality.

• Support technical troubleshooting and system optimization in production environments.

• Drive continuous improvement in development, deployment, and maintenance processes.

• Programming Languages:
  Required: Python (latest stable version), familiarity with API development and scripting
  Preferred: Additional languages like Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript for integrated solutions

• Databases/Data Management:
  Familiarity with relational data stores (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB), and data structures for efficient data handling

• Cloud Technologies:
  AWS cloud ecosystem, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and CloudFormation for deployment and automation

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in software development, with at least 4 years focused on Python programming in AI, blockchain, or IoT domains.

• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams in delivering innovative technology projects.

• Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in cloud environments.

• Hands-on experience with emerging technology implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Industry background in finance, healthcare, or enterprise digital transformation projects is a plus.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications and modules aligned with project requirements.

• Collaborate with data scientists, hardware teams, and product managers to integrate AI/ML models, blockchain solutions, or IoT devices.

• Conduct code reviews, optimize algorithms, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.

• Evaluate new technologies, create proof of concepts, and lead adoption strategies.

• Participate in agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review sessions.

• Document technical designs, API specifications, and deployment procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

• Demonstrable experience implementing AI, blockchain, or IoT solutions using Python.

• Relevant certifications related to cloud platform deployment, AI/ML, or blockchain are a plus.
