Python Application Engineer to design, build, and maintain serverless applications that orchestrate data pipelines to sync investor data across Snowflake, Salesforce, and API-driven platforms. You'll architect complex multi-step workflows, optimize data transformations, and ensure reliable execution across development, QA, and production environments.
TECHNICAL STACK (WHAT YOU'LL USE DAILY) Orchestration: AWS Lambda + Step Functions Data Processing: Python with PyArrow for efficient ETL Data Warehouse: Snowflake for structured data extraction and storage Infrastructure: Terraform for IaC, GitHub Actions for CI/CD State & Caching: DynamoDB for pipeline metrics and execution state Observability: CloudWatch + DataDog structured logging, AWS X-Ray tracing API Integrations: REST APIs (Salesforce, Anduin IDM, custom endpoints)
Skills Required
- Proficient in Python for data processing
- Experience with PyArrow for efficient ETL
- Build and orchestrate serverless workflows using AWS Lambda
- Design multi-step orchestrations with AWS Step Functions
- Experience with Snowflake for data warehousing
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions
- Use DynamoDB for pipeline state and metrics
- Observability with CloudWatch, DataDog, and AWS X-Ray
- Integrate with REST APIs (Salesforce, Anduin IDM, custom endpoints)
