You will become part of a high-performance team responsible for the grid integration support of power converters and power plant controllers manufactured by the company.
Main tasks:
• Grid code surveillance to identify new requirements that will launch new developments.
• PV & BESS control development to confirm grid code compliance.
• Technical support for customers, consultants, network service providers, and grid operators’ queries.
• Inverter control correlation with testbench and HiL results.
• Technical notes generation with the PV&BESS control strategy analysis of Gamesa Electric power converters and Power Plant Controllers.
• Support on Power Plant Controller parametrization of PV & BESS plants.
• Pre-sales support on PV & BESS plant dimensioning and technical questions of customers.
• After sales support in relation to control simulations, grid code compliance and operational limits.
Technical qualifications needed for the service:
• Knowledge of electrical power systems and grid code compliance
• At least 3 years of experience in grid integration for the renewable energy market
• Experience in analysis, diagnosis and problem solving on complex systems
• Fluent in English
• Full competence as a user on, minimum, one of the following SW: Matlab/SIMULINK
