Fluidra’s looking for a Purchasing Associate to join our team at our office in West Valley City, UT. 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The Purchasing Associate will provide supply resources to the production department, facility maintenance and administration as needed. Additionally, you will: 

  • Issuing purchase orders and communicating order change messages to vendors, updating purchase order files, and other duties as assigned.
  • Quickly reacts to new assignments and works with other employees to complete the tasks.
  • Works with our planning team and expedites materials related to production scheduling.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to maintain supply and cost directives.
  • Aids in tracking the return status of RMAs with our internal group.
  • Diligently executes high volume data entry

WHAT WE SEEK

  • Experience working in an ERP system required, Navision preferred
  • Must be highly experienced in Microsoft Excel, as well as proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Previous supply chain experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills, strong team player

 EDUCATION

  • Associate degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
