Summary Generated by Built In

Publica is the leading Advertising Platform for Connected Television (CTV). As audiences shift from Cable TV to Digital, Publica’s goal is to power the next generation of ad experiences on the big screen.

What we need to build together

The core of our platform is an Over-the-top (OTT) Header Bidding solution that enables publishers to run a unified auction between their direct sales and 30 video Sell Side Platforms (SSPs). In addition, we provide an Audience Management solution based on our integration with LiveRamp and a Server-Side Ad Insertion solution. We’re looking for a Publisher Development Director to join our Publisher Operations team. We need someone to act as the link between these different projects and make sure that we are continuing to provide excellent customer service and driving growth and adoption for our customers.

We are looking for someone who thrives at early stage companies and is comfortable wearing a few hats to move things forward. You ideally have deep ad tech experience and connections, are obsessed with delivering customer satisfaction, and are hungry to grow revenue for your clients. You are comfortable with learning about new technologies and features, speaking to executive level clients, pitching platform adoption, and working closely with a highly technical team. You inspire and motivate your team, leading by example.

The Publisher Development Director will also be building up and leading a global team to hit established goals. You will be formulating a strong and clear execution playbook to help the team hit targets, establish clear go to market strategies to achieve client adoption of new features, and lead the team with clear goal setting and accountability.

Things that we are looking for:

  • Experience managing a global team across numerous timezones
  • Cross functional and collaborative communication between different departments, stakeholders, and their executives.
  • Proven track record of hitting revenue driven team goals and driving publisher adoption of new features
  • Knowledge of video ad serving, openRTB, SSAI, header bidding, and programmatic advertising.
  • Experience working with high touch clients, preferably publishing partners
  • Experience with ad tech user interfaces (ie ad servers, SSP platforms, DSP platforms, etc).
  • Experience working with clients to understand their needs and working with different teams to resolve issues
  • Able to deliver insights by way of data, reports, and/or presentations
  • History of driving projects forward and identifying areas for improvements

What We Do

Publica is a leading Connected TV (CTV) ad platform and works with many of the world's biggest broadcasters, TV manufacturers, and OTT apps. Headquartered in Palo Alto, Publica provides solutions for publishers to maximize their revenue across their CTV inventory through key solutions including a Unified Auction, Ad Pod Management, Audience Management, and Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI). The Publica platform allows publishers to create more advanced CTV ad breaks, run a unified auction and provide the data we needed to grow our streaming advertising revenues in a controlled and transparent way. Publica serves over 3 billion ads on CTV every month, delivering quality ad experiences for Crunchyroll, E. W. Scripps, Fox, IGN, MLB, Philo, Samsung, ViacomCBS, XUMO, and more. Publica is owned by Integral Ad Science (Nasdaq: IAS), a global leader in digital media quality.

Why Work With Us

Publica is in such a unique spot right now in the AdTech space as one of the only independent technologies available to support a publishers' streaming strategy from stitching the ads in, to building the right ad break and maintaining being demand agnostic.
