Marketing and Communications
Position Summary:
The Marketing Publication & Content Coordinator reports to the System Manager of External Communications and works closely with the team to deliver the most up-to-date information using Bozeman Health brand standards while promoting our system’s mission, vision, and values. This position will contribute to proactively telling stories about Bozeman Health’s care teams, programs, and efforts to positively impact our community. Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing the outsourcing of print publications and contributing to other forms of internal and external communications for the health system. Specifically, managing and executing email marketing campaigns, crafting engaging content for both internal and external audiences, and coordinating print production with external vendors. This role will assist with implementing key strategic initiatives to help service lines optimize their patient communication methods and achieve outcome goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent field.
- Four (4) years of relevant experience in copywriting, editing, and creating communications materials.
- One (1) year prior experience managing external vendors, negotiating orders / agreements / prices, and coordinating timelines
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and email marketing tools (examples: Asana, Monday, Trello)
- Preferred: Experience in health care communications
Essential Job Functions:

Copywriting and Editing:
- Assist with copywriting and content creation.
- Strong attention to detail with keen eye to fix grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Maintain Bozeman Health brand standards and internal writing style using AP style.
- Plan, create, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns using our CRM platform, ensuring effective segmentation, personalization, and performance tracking.
Vendor Relationships and Customer Service:
- Work closely with external print vendors and negotiate prices when needed within budgetary guidelines.
- Problem solve print timing and/or quality issues.
- Utilize a collaborative and consultative style with internal Bozeman Health stakeholders.
Reporting and Analytics
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of print and digital media communication materials.
- Generate reports on cost, efficiency, and distribution.

Schedule Requirements
- This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
- The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
- On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
