We are looking for a motivated, smart, and resourceful Public Affairs Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone eager to build a career in public affairs. No extensive experience is required, but we are seeking an individual with strong writing skills, excellent organizational capabilities, and a hunger to learn and grow in the industry. You will play a key role in supporting the entire public affairs team, managing department budgets, organizing events, assisting with scheduling and travel arrangements, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.


What you’ll do:

  • Support Public Affairs Team: Provide administrative and operational support to the public affairs department, ensuring smooth workflows and clear communication across the team.
  • Writing & Communication: Draft, edit, and proofread communications, reports, and public-facing materials with a keen eye for detail and a professional tone.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and organize public affairs events, both internal and external, including logistics, venues, invitations, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Travel & Schedule Management: Assist with the scheduling and travel arrangements for the public affairs team, ensuring efficient planning and execution of itineraries.
  • Budget Management: Track and manage the public affairs department’s budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, and partners to facilitate project completion, event success, and the overall goals of the public affairs team

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or a related field is preferred but not required. We value drive and aptitude over experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude toward growing in the public affairs space
  • Ability to manage budgets and track expenses effectively
  • Strong event planning and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


What makes you stand out:

  • Previous internship or experience in public affairs, public relations, or related fields is a plus, but not required.

Where you’ll live:

  • Must be based in Atlanta and able to work in the office at least three days per week.
