Location: Teller County Jail – Divide, CO
Schedule: Part-Time | 8-Hour Day Shift | 1 Day Per Week

As our Psychiatric RN, you'll play an essential role in supporting the mental health and well-being of patients by:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Providing therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation
• Facilitating individual and group counseling focused on coping skills, substance use, trauma, anger management, and emotional wellness
• Collaborating with medical providers, nursing staff, correctional officers, and community resources to coordinate patient care
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Monitoring patient progress and making appropriate treatment recommendations
• Supporting discharge planning and referrals for continued care upon release
• Staying current on best practices in behavioral health and correctional healthcare

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Experience caring for patients with behavioral health diagnoses including substance use disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, and psychosis
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in a structured environment
• Correctional healthcare experience is preferred but not required
