About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Psychologist to join our team, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments and counseling. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, with a combination of in-office and remote work, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking for work-life balance while providing essential psychological services.
Position Details
• Full-Time: Autism assessments & counseling
• Part-Time: Autism assessments only
• Schedule: 30-40 hours per week with flexibility
• Hybrid Work: 2-3 days in-office for assessments, 2-3 days remote for documentation & counseling sessions
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations using the ADOS-2 assessment and other standardized diagnostic tools.
• Provide individual counseling for patients diagnosed with ASD and other related conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans and recommendations.
• Prepare detailed clinical reports summarizing assessment findings and treatment recommendations.
• Communicate results effectively to patients, families, and referring providers.
• Stay updated on best practices in autism assessment and treatment methodologies.
Qualifications
• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited program.
• Licensed Psychologist in the state of practice (or eligible for licensure).
• Experience conducting ADOS-2 assessments and evaluating autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent developmental disorders.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
