The Psychiatry Department at this location sees an average of 250 patients per month. Services include psychiatric assessment and counseling, medication and medical management.

Job DescriptionThe psychiatrist position diagnoses, prescribes medication, monitors medication side effects and participates in the treatment process.
Our health care centers are made up of over 140 practitioners who offer services that include Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Psychiatry and Dental. We are the 5th largest health care provider in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Skills Required
- Perform psychiatric assessments and provide counseling
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications and monitor side effects
- Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment process and provide outpatient care
