Description
If you are an experienced Psychiatrist, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary Outpatient practice. This role is 2 days per week and offers the chance to work in a supportive and professional environment. Working well with children is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management services to individuals, adolescents, and children who experience a wide array of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, adult/childhood ADHD, addiction issues, and trauma.
- Prescribe and adjust as needed all maintenance medications at least every 90 days.
- Document all services provided through electronic medical records system Carelogic.
- Become part of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals providing a diverse set of mental health services across several programs.
- Provide limited consultation to other mental health professionals within the agency, will attend Outpatient and Mental Health staff meetings.
- Review of clinical and documentation of Mental Health and D & A Programs.
- Complete internal DSC (Decision Support Center) power statements
- Act as collaborator for Psychiatric CRNP.
Requirements
Requirements:
· Graduate of accredited medical school with specialty training in psychiatry
· Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
· Pennsylvania State Licensed and current DEA
· Ability to develop competence with software typically used by the department
