In this role, the Mechanical Engineer will work as part of a multi-functional team including Research & Development, and Manufacturing to develop and implement technical solutions in support of the Duracell business. These include improvements in High Speed Manufacturing processes, Automation delivery, Vision inspection systems, and product upgrades.
ResponsibilitiesApplies engineering knowledge and technical expertise to develop/design innovative technology alternatives, analyze the options, recommend the best technical solution possible to optimize the value to the business, predict performance, and support the execution of the selected option.
Plans and executes technical learning trials that span from offline lab studies, prototyping, and process development, up through trials executed at large scale production facilities.
Effectively operates in a team environment including the ability to communicate effectively, to build collaborative relationships, and to contribute to a healthy team culture.
Independently driven to seek out issues and a natural disposition to challenge status quo and improve.
