BASIC PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Responsible for inputting new inventory into system and updating director of reorder opportunities. 
  • Establish and build key relationships with vendors to identify items in line with the vision of the store.
  • Assist with store merchandise seasonal flips.
  • Create and maintain systems to determine actions steps regarding existing inventory, including proper displays, pricing, and order processing, etc.
  • Collaborate with Communications on effective marketing and advertising opportunities for Provision Café & Bookstore.
  • Navigate and understand point of sale system both for internal inventory purposes as well as external customer needs.
  • Establish systems that enable Provision Café & Bookstore to forecast trends based on both past customer feedback and future customer needs.
  • Maintain healthy presence within Provision Café & Bookstore regularly engaging to meet customers’ needs including wonderful opportunities to minister.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of all products we sell in the store.
  • Some social media responsibilities.
  • Track store supplies and order/replenish as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.
  • Learn how to emboss bibles and assist during busy time of the year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • Experience in project management, merchandising, or sales preferred.

PHYSCIAL ABILITIES

  • Ability to lift up and carry 25 or more pounds.
  • Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Physically able to work inside and outside in various weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work weekends.

 

WEEKLY SCHEDULE (SEASONAL FLEXIBILITY TO CHANGE AS NEEDS ARISE)

  • Wednesdays 1p-8p
  • Thursdays, 9a-5p
  • Saturdays 9a-2p
