The Provider Experience Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining Network Provider relationships across the state through identifying quality improvements for Contact Blue inquiries received, developing trainings to educate Network Providers to better serve Members and leading education and monitoring of the Company’s value-based programming.  The incumbent will use analysis relating to Network Providers Contact Blues, service utilization and claim filing processes to target, schedule and train Network Providers and ancillary staff within clinic and/or health systems to provide a service minded experience for Network Providers. The incumbent will also be responsible for receiving Network Provider feedback to identify opportunities to enhance the overall Network Provider experience.  The incumbent will also participate in recruiting and monitoring Network Providers participation in various corporately focused value-based programs.

Job-Specific Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least one year experience in provider relations or a provider office setting required.
  • Must possess the ability to present and speak publicly.
  • Must possess the aptitude to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with providers.
  • Overnight travel limited to the state of Mississippi may be required.
