Employment Status:Full timeShift:Day (United States of America)Facility:213 S Jefferson St - RoanokeRequisition Number:R162503 Provider Enrollment Specialist I (Open) How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:The Provider Enrollment Specialist is responsible for coordinating, monitoring and maintaining the provider enrollment and re-enrollment process in a timely and compliant manner with all government and commercial payors. Facilitates all aspects of provider enrollment, including initial enrollment, re-enrollment, monitoring, and appointment for the medical staff and allied health practitioners. Knowledge of insurance claim processing and third party reimbursement highly desired.

Duties and responsibilities may include but not limited:

  • Ensures policies and procedures are up to date and followed.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Follow up with necessary contacts, including providers and managed care organizations, to resolve enrollment application issues and deficiencies.

  • Provides guidance to revenue cycle and payor community.

  • Subject matter expert of assigned payors.

  • Works in Symplr Provider

  • Stays current on regulatory requirements for payors, application, and audit needs.

  • Ability to understand and interpret statistical reports and perform quantitative analysis.

What We Require:

Education: High School graduate required; some college course work preferred

Experience: Billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Communication, analytical and problem-solving skills required.  Must be able to meet high productivity and accuracy standards.   

Compensation Range:

$18.70 - $26.18

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
