As a Prototype Vehicle Supervisor, you will help develop and commercialize state-of-the-art electric vehicle. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and be excellent at multi-tasking.
The Role:
- Oversee vehicle prototype team to lead the build of state-of-the-art prototype vehicles, systems, and subsystems
- Take responsibility for maintaining the fleet of prototype vehicles
- Facilitate development and engineering to solve issues on our vehicles
- Work closely with engineers to identify potential assembly and service issues
- Build and improve existing workflow processes to smoothly coordinate and document work done on cars
- Help the team grow, encouraging skills development and cross-functional training
- Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment
Qualifications:
- Automotive Technician certification
- 5 years Luxury Automobile Technician experience
- Automotive technician degree or equivalent work experience
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, etc.
- Ability to travel
- Leadership experience
- Proof of excellence in your past position, while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical problems
- You bring your own professional automotive toolbox
Preferred:
- Professional Race team experience
- Fabrication skills
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

$110,600—$138,200 USD
