The Prototype Project Coordinator I will assist with the planning and coordination of projects and their activities. The role will ensure implementation of processes and practices. The Prototype Project Coordinator I will maintain and track data and schedules. This is a day shift position located in Allen Park, MI.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating office and shop activity and relay customer expectations.
- Assist in developing and executing small project plans.
- Review data from customers, suppliers, and create reports.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No previous experience required.
- Complete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure deliverables.
- Coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors.
- Detail oriented, effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Good customer service skills, reliable attendance and ability to work overtime.
- Ability to follow directions, learn new skills and technologies, multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate degree in Business or related.
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
