Position Summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Protestant Religious Education Coordinator to support the Protestant Religious Education Program at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.

The coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and supporting Protestant religious education programs for children, youth, and adults. The position requires experience in religious education program management, curriculum coordination, volunteer support, and community engagement within a Protestant faith environment.

The successful candidate will assist in developing educational programs, coordinating volunteers, supporting chapel activities, maintaining program documentation, and ensuring effective delivery of religious education services to the military community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and support Protestant Religious Education programs for children, youth, and adults.
  • Plan and maintain annual religious education calendars, schedules, and program activities.
  • Research, recommend, and coordinate appropriate Protestant religious education curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers involved in religious education programs.
  • Assist with volunteer training, qualification tracking, and compliance requirements for personnel working with children and youth.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of experience planning, coordinating, or supporting Protestant religious education programs.
  • Experience developing and managing educational activities for children, youth, and adults.
  • Strong knowledge of Protestant faith traditions, practices, and religious education methods.
  • Experience coordinating volunteers and supporting community-based programs.
  • Ability to develop lesson plans, schedules, calendars, and educational materials.

Skills Required

  • At least two years of experience planning, coordinating, or supporting Protestant religious education programs
  • Experience developing and managing educational activities for children, youth, and adults
  • Strong knowledge of Protestant faith traditions, practices, and religious education methods
  • Experience coordinating volunteers and supporting community-based programs
  • Ability to develop lesson plans, schedules, calendars, and educational materials
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with military personnel, families, volunteers, and diverse communities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook
  • Ability to pass required background screening requirements
  • Membership in good standing of a Protestant church or active participation in Protestant Chapel programs
