Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We are also developing different types of propulsion systems to power our future vehicles and missions.
As a talented Propulsion Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the test simulation and analysis of our future propulsion systems.
Key responsibilities:Develop and maintain visualization and post-processing tools
Collect, analyse, and interpret test data to validate system performance and identify anomalies.
Generate clear and comprehensive test reports and present findings to engineering teams.
Contribute to validation and anchoring of 0D - 1D simulations
Collaborate with propulsion design, AIT engineers to provide feedback and recommend test improvements.
Support troubleshooting efforts during test preparation and post-test analysis.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in propulsion test analysis, in a real-world, hands-on environment.
Knowledge of simulation tools (Ecosim, etc.).
Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Matlab, etc.).
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and combustion principles.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Fluency in English.
Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and reliability.
Comfortable working under pressure in dynamic test environments.
Strong team player with a proactive mindset.
Desirable:
Hands-on experience with liquid propulsion systems.
Familiarity with test facilities
Familiarity with storable propulsion systems.
