About the role:

  • Plan, implement, and manage both large and small-scale promotional activities, including partnerships, content-driven initiatives, and Discord community promotions
  • Focus on creative approaches to increase user engagement and interaction across multiple channels
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including content creators and partnership managers, to align promotional strategies with overall brand goals
  • Work closely with the social media team to develop and execute promotions, and other engagement initiatives
  • Conduct early morning reviews of scheduled promotions to ensure they are running smoothly and are free of any issues
  • Identify and flag any discrepancies in KPIs or technical issues and communicate them promptly to relevant teams for resolution
  • Monitor and reschedule manually programmed promotions to align with upcoming sports events, adjusting the timing and content to maximize relevance
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the promotions calendar remains updated and responsive to changes in the sports schedule
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the promotional team

Who you are:

  • Prior experience (1+ year) in promotions, marketing, or related fields, particularly within the sports industry
  • A genuine passion for sports and fantasy sports with a strong understanding of the sports business landscape
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, based on the sports calendar

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $70,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
