Promo Producer - Creative Department
About the Role
The Promo Producer of the Creative Department is responsible for the creative development and production of on-air trailers, promos, and branding content that promote the TV station’s content, and special events. The role combines strong stakeholder management, creative vision, and hands-on production expertise to ensure a high-quality creative output is delivered on time and is aligned with the channel’s brand identity.
Job Description
- Produce and oversee all stages of production: pre-production, production, and post-production
- Provide all creative team members with the needed assets to produce trailers/promos. (i.e. Video footage, music, graphics, voice-over and scripts)
- Collaborate closely with programming, marketing and scheduling teams
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Coordinate with editors, motion designers, voice-over artists, and external vendors when needed
- Review promo materials to ensure quality, consistency and alignment with creative briefs
- Stay up to date with TV, streaming and promo production trends
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Promo Producer, Trailer Producer, or similar role in television or media.
- Excellent knowledge of post-production workflows.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Conceptual and creative thinking
- Crisis management and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in editing software (considered a plus)
