As a Product Manager/Architect, you will lead the technical architecture and design efforts for the Studio Build/Amherst Homes business model. You will work in a highly collaborative and very fast-paced environment. The expectation is to create a highly iterative approach to continue to achieve the goal to fully automate the Studio Build business, to create a true “assembly process” that allows the business model to support scale and load via technology and streamlined workflows).

  • Provide end-to-end solutions, architecture, and workflows that capture all the steps and action across the lifecycle of the business

  • Create an “integrated platform” that aligns with the business execution needs

  • Support the Studio Build business vertical with collaboration with Amherst technology, key stakeholders, and Studio Build team.

  • Take all offline objectives and drive to a fully digital assembly process.

  • Aggregate the task within independent swim lanes (manufacturing and distribution, sourcing and acquisition of land, permitting with municipalities, assembly/construction) to create a centralized workflow that delivers a completed modular unit (Certificate of Occupancy).

  • A solution will be required to integrate with key Amherst stakeholders/business processes, 3rd party partners (manufactures, vendors, partners) and provide reporting for Studio Build operations team and Amherst leadership stakeholders.

  • Other key tasks as assigned to support the Studio Build process and team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field

  • At least 5+ years experience leading UX/UI or Product design efforts and coordinating project teams of 4 or more members
