Our Opportunity

Chewy is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Program Manager, Inventory Management - Domestic, with working knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Transportation and S&OP to join our exciting and fast-paced team in Dania Beach, FL. The primary focus of the Senior Program Manager in this role is to own the roadmap for launching domestic vendors onto our new inventory management system and inbound flow processes. This role will require a collaborative mindset that is able to influence decisions cross-functionally and be able to relay appropriate information to our vendors and stakeholders within Supply Chain, Merchandising, and FC Operations. Our ability to have the right products in the right place at the right time is critical to the continued growth of Chewy. This role will have a significant impact on our overall business, and the right candidate will need to be ready to operate with a high degree of autonomy from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with stakeholders of Demand Planning, In-stock, Research, FC Operations, Supply Chain Execution & Planning (SCEP), Transportation, Merchandizing and Finance teams to build a world-class inventory management system and inbound flow processes.
  • Create and maintain a unified roadmap which will include all key milestones across stakeholder teams.
  • Focus on strategic planning for program ramp and execution. Hold stakeholders accountable to achieving critical deadlines on their respective tracks to ensure overall success of the program. Surface any roadblocks in weekly steering meetings.
  • Collaborate with various PMs in Supply Chain and IT to ensure capabilities required are present on their roadmap and/or are being developed and will be ready on time.
  • Conduct weekly status meetings with stakeholders to quickly identify and address unexpected issues that might impact the plan. Also, must actively setup and manage war rooms as necessary.
  • Focus on coordination between SCEP and other supply chain teams to ensure seamless communication and execute the vendor launch and program playbook.
  • Track performance using key metrics vs. targets and communicate that out to all the stakeholders.
  • Drive collaboration on the post-mortem analysis towards compiling a whitepaper using which we will be able to illustrate the learnings around failure and plans to improve.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or 2+ years of Chewy experience.
  • Strong analytical skills including SQL and Advanced Excel, including the ability to pull data and use it to identify and solve ambiguous problems.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management areas of Inventory Management, Vendor Compliance, Inbound Transportation, Data Analysis, and Business Research and Documentation.
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management in working with tech and non-tech teams.

OR

7+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects.

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing and communicating results to senior management.
  • Up to 10% travel required.

 Bonus

  • MBA or Master of Science in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations disciplines.
  • Prior experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma analytical techniques.
  • Previous experience with Fulfilment Center or retail assortment planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to think big and influence across all levels of an organization.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Superior professional writing and communication skills.
  • Successful delivery of technology solutions.
  • E-commerce background a plus.
