Senior Scrum Master

Job Responsibilities:
Arena software product development is shared among three small teams working on client integrations, product development, and data engineering. Reporting to the CTO, in this role you will guide and educate these teams through the Scrum process and help them work together collaboratively and efficiently. You will prepare for and facilitate Agile ceremonies, support team decision-making processes, and remove team impediments.
We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative personality who can fine-tune our existing Scrum process and champion agile principles within Arena!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as Scrum Master for three small scrum teams.
- Track, communicate, escalate, and mitigate project risks, dependencies and schedule changes.
- Assist with teams’ internal and external communication, improving transparency and “radiating information”.
- Own the Agile process at Arena:
- Serve as an Agile subject matter expert.
- Hold teams accountable for adherence to Agile principles and procedures.
- Promote continuous process improvement in collaboration with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4+ years’ experience in a Scrum Master role
- Experience working with software product development teams
- Expert knowledge of agile principles, and an ability to adapt them to fit each team and business priorities
- Ability to analyze JIRA reports to track commitments and deliveries. Ability to guide the team on how to make adjustments to meet those commitments.
- Experience with Jira administration
