Introduction
We are working on a large IBM project for a world renown bank on a cloud modernization project and need a Sr Project Manager that understands implementing Infrastructure as Code well with Terraform,or AWS Cloud Formation in an AWS cloud environment. The Remote TaC Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and delivery of IaC processes and tools.
The Remote Container PM should have some experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes or Docker and multiple years within Cloud projects. Primarily they need to work on scoping and recalibrating the projects based on Time, Cost and Dependencies. In terms of skills am looking for the team member to have solid understanding and experience in JIRA and other standard project management tools. They will work with multiple vendors streamlining, establish governance process as required, and tracking the deliverables, roadmaps, test processes etc. for wider consumption. The Program Manager will assist and mentor project managers by breaking the program into smaller sprints with clear deliverables and exit criteria, present data/weekly reports based on contextual data. It is preferred to have six sigma certification.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Duties of Remote IaC Project Manager

• Lead the planning and implementation of the IaC processes and tools.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Present and negotiate scope and schedule with customers, senior management, and IT teams
• Plan and schedule program timelines and necessary weekly/daily or ad hoc meetings
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required Experience of Remote IaC Project Manager

• 5+ years of Program Management experience - preferably in the delivery of Cloud/DevOps/Infrastructure projects
• 3+ years within Agile Scrum preferably ScrumMaster certified
• 2+ years working within AWS projects
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with management, software development and test teams, and infrastructure teams, and with business partners
• Any experience with PM tools such as GSuite, Visio, and MSProject
• Strong negotiation/facilitation skills with an ability to gain consensus
• Ability to consult, facilitate and manage expectations with leadership, IT teams and with customers
• Ability to translate and communicate a customer's strategic opportunities into requirements for the technical teams
• Ability to facilitate solutions in a complex IT technology and business environment and able to adapt quickly to change.
• Ability to manage customer expectations throughout the program implementation and delivery process.
• Ability to work on teams in a lead and participative capacity with many different and diverse stakeholders.
• Formal knowledge of Program management principles, processes, and tools
