The Project Manager, Strategy + Execution is responsible for various projects of a moderately complex nature and interfaces with all areas affected. Responsible for assembling project time, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Monitors projects in the central repository. Supports the VP, People Partners + Development.
You will:
- Support and lead aspects of projects / work streams that drive GRAIL’s overall People strategy.
- Drive cross functional collaboration across the People team and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead, direct, and coordinate the People Team’s center of excellence (COE) in the design of projects and in the development of the implementation plan and project timelines.
- Lead projects to support more consistency of pull through of programs across client groups and infrastructure/processes.
- Develop quarterly success metrics to show clear accountability across the People Partner team.
- Identify and develop working relationships with affected stakeholders at all levels; ensure that stakeholder representatives are kept appropriately informed of project activities and are encouraged to participate as appropriate.
- Provide and ensure communication with and between project and constituent management at critical points in the implementation of the project plan.
- Ensure that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiate changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines.
- Partner with the VP, People Partners + Development on the allocation of work to effectively accomplish the goals and objectives of the team.
- Support the development and management of operating budgets as appropriate and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses.

Your background should include:
- 6+ years of experience in project management
- Relevant undergraduate degree or noteworthy experience combined with HR certifications; advanced degree in organizational behavior or business considered favorably
- Experience supporting senior leadership levels
- Problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate project related activities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Basic stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Experience supporting tech, life sciences, or commercial teams is helpful
- Ability to work adeptly with data analysis and systems (e.g. Google Slides and Google Sheets) is a plus
- Experience in rapid growth or start-up organization (and the resulting requirement to wear multiple hats) viewed favorably
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the role - no job too big or too small
