Location: Alpharetta, GA
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Network Project Manager in Alpharetta, GA
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Update SPM with required milestones
Regular Milestone Dates as required for trackers and local Transport Engineering Team
Report Weekly Progress by site and market using FUZE SPM derived data when possible
Coordinate with Fiber Provider and Stakeholders
Contract to Close Out Package for each site
Weekly and ad hoc meetings to coordinate projects
Coordinate and communicate Issues/delays/de-selects/date pull ins/swaps/prioritization of segments or any other changes in milestones related to projects in FUZE SPM and local trackers as required
Coordinate with RE/Site Acquisition vendor and Stakeholders
Easement and Conduit A&E
Meet Me Point Coordination with fiber provider
Associated drawings and or site visits
Coordinate with Construction Management vendor and Stakeholders
RE and A&E Complete for Conduit Construction
Coordinate A&E with Construction Management vendor
Bid and Build Status through Close Out Package
Close Out Package loaded to FUZE SPM by Construction Management vendor
Coordinate migrations with Field and Switch Network Assurance and Stakeholders
Training needs identification as needed
Sparing needs with budget requirements as needed
Responsibility Matrix for Project (who is doing what)
Port, Fiber Distribution Panel, port level assignments from Transport Engineering and/or fiber vendor
Labeling requirements for fiber provides on panels and fiber strands
Maintain a local tracker of sites, rings, circuit IDs, Configuration info, equipment specifications, port assignments, cable running lists and other engineering data required to start and complete the project on a detailed level
Migration of circuits from current circuit to dark circuit
Coordinate with Transport Engineering and Stakeholders
Contract changes - deselects, swaps, adds, etc
Records for changes and associated costs for Route Order Amendments
Coordinate and communicate disconnect needs to responsible Transport Engineer
Coordinate with Field Network Assurance and disconnected circuit vendor removal of any vendor equipment, post disconnect
Qualifications & Requirements:
- - 3-5 years of Cell Network related Project Management Experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Very good understanding of Transport Networks cell traffic backhaul
- Good understanding of utility easement acquisition and conduit construction
- Ability to track, communicate and follow through on issues for a high volume of projects
- Ability to host and run regular, ongoing and ad hoc project meetings
- Ability to work with multiple disciplines and vendors
- Ability to create and maintain accurate and up to date project data and reports
- Must be easy to work with but effective at completing tasks and projects
