As a Business Sales Project Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to an individual and / or line of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A business sales project coordinator has 4 primary responsibilities:

  • Assist sales director and sales team
  • In-depth knowledge of e-rate for schools and libraries
  • Maintaining the sales team bi-weekly commissions
  • Work with the business customer support team and business sales to make sure all orders are completed



When it comes to day-to-day duties typically include:

  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with customers
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to obtain the necessary paperwork for sales
  • Assist sales director with duties as needed
  • Coordinates logistics for internal and external meetings
  • Attends and participates in internal and external meetings
  • Maintain weekly sales meeting notes
  • Maintain daily sales numbers and google sheets for the sales team



Other typical duties include:

  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
  • Knowledge to enter orders into NISC and handoff for scheduling and installation
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events as needed



EDUCATION:

  • Business Degree or equal work experience.



EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven track record 6 or more years of Telecom experience

To be an effective business sales special project coordinator, an individual must be:

  • Good with numbers
  • Able to provide quality leadership to a large team of salespeople
  • Demonstrated experience anticipating the needs of executive-level staff and ensuring priorities and logistics are met

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: the ability to interact with diverse internal and external customers
  • Project management: leadership and teamwork skills High-level computer skills: keyboarding, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • High energy and flexibility to manage diverse responsibilities and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
