ROLE OVERVIEW
This role will support tms in protecting Happy Meal calendar continuity, always ensuring that deliverables support our clients’ needs and expectations.
Your attention to detail will also play a critical role in calendar management, which requires tracking multiple data sets and drawing connections between the inputs to help strengthen your understanding of complex global scenarios, all while building strong external relationships with external partners.
Responsibilities:
Crisis Management
• Leverage the network of account, production, logistics, and strategy experts to develop solutions when a major event disrupts Happy Meal promotional plans
• Gather and present cost estimates of calendar change proposals for both internal and client evaluation and potential compensation
• Proactively develop calendar contingency plans in anticipation of disruptions
• Gain a deep understanding of the Happy Meal process and operational needs to evaluate calendar solutions
• Present calendar options to internal teams and client, as needed
• Develop and maintain an active, positive, and productive working relationship with clients,
partners, and internal collaborators
• Track post-promotion results of crisis solutions for future learnings
Calendar Management
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Global Happy Meal calendar structure and local market nuances
• Collaborate with global tms teams to gain knowledge on local market needs for calendar plans
• Provide assistance on ad-hoc client and internal requests
Calendar Administration
• Support the Senior Manager, Global Promotions to collaborate with partners on calendar date shifts for multi-segment promotions
• Utilize TMS online resources to track and manage pending date changes and calendar updates
• Run reports on market participation and promotional dates for McDonald's, Licensors, and
internal TMS teams
• Communicate with TMS calendar team counterparts globally to align on system-wide calendar
solutions
Data Governance
• Provide governance for HMC/Tableau HM Calendar data - including reviewing data and
following up with local leads to clean up missing or incorrect data
• Develop and audit reports to support ongoing business objectives and answer ad-hoc client or
internal requests
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 3-5 years’ experience in marketing/promotions/operations
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client and partner relationships
• Demonstrated professionalism and a strong work ethic
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong PowerPoint skills, comfort in working in Excel
• Possess excellent organization skills and attention to detail; comfortable working independently
in fast-paced environment
