Overview:

Olgoonik is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to lead a five-team, deployable inventory support operation supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution network and its financial audit readiness mission.

The Project Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and performance of contractor personnel supporting inventory operations, warehouse activities, WMS processes, mock audits, and targeted remediation efforts across the DLA Distribution network.

This is a highly mobile position. Although the Project Supervisor's home station will be DLA Distribution Susquehanna, PA, the position requires travel to DLA Distribution Centers throughout the United States and overseas. The Project Supervisor must be prepared to deploy and support operations at alternate DLA Distribution locations for periods of up to two weeks at a time, based on mission requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the contractor's primary operational leader and point of accountability for assigned personnel.
• Coordinate daily workload planning, staffing, performance, quality, and mission execution.
• Monitor inventory, warehouse, WMS, and audit-support activities.
• Support mock audits and targeted inventory remediation efforts.
• Coordinate personnel deployments to CONUS and OCONUS DLA Distribution sites.
• Travel to DLA Distribution locations as required to assess operations, resolve issues, and support mission requirements.
• Ensure contract requirements, performance standards, quality requirements, and deliverables are met.
• Review daily SITREPs, weekly status reports, and mock audit reports.
• Participate in Government meetings, briefings, and workload planning activities.
• Respond to Government inquiries and operational issues in accordance with contract requirements.
• Ensure personnel maintain required training, system access, certifications, security requirements, and deployment readiness.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, quality, and mission focus.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• Manage and oversee five deployable inventory support teams operating across the DLA Distribution network.

Education and/or Experience:

• Demonstrated experience supervising warehouse, logistics, inventory, supply chain, or DLA operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management processes.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed or multi-site teams preferred.
• Experience with DLA, WMS, DSS, SAP, or similar warehouse management systems preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to analyze operational problems and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong coordination with Government and contractor leadership.
• Must be willing and able to travel and deploy for up to two weeks at a time to DLA Distribution Centers throughout the CONUS and OCONUS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required installation access credentials and Government system access.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management processes.

Security Clearance: 

SECRET Level Required

• Must have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an Active Passport
• Must also be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.

Work Environment:

This position supports active DLA Distribution warehouse operations and may require work in warehouse, storage, inventory, and industrial environments. The standard work schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday; occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on mission requirements.

Deployment Readiness is an essential condition of employment. Candidates must be comfortable traveling on short notice and working at DLA Distribution Centers in locations throughout the United States and overseas for periods of up to two weeks at a time.
