The Role
Develop and maintain integrated pipeline construction schedules using TILOS and Primavera P6. Coordinate sequencing across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and restoration. Track field progress, productivity, quantities, critical paths, risks, and forecasts; produce look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and schedule narratives. Collaborate with project and field leadership, project controls, subcontractors, and clients to identify delays, evaluate impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies. This is a site-based role supporting linear pipeline construction and multi-spread coordination.
Summary Generated by Built In
At Ledcor, we deliver fully integrated construction and maintenance solutions across some of Canada’s largest and most complex projects. From early planning through execution and close-out, we bring projects to life with proven expertise and a True Blue commitment to excellence.
As a Pipeline Scheduler, you will support the successful delivery of large-scale pipeline projects by developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated schedules using TILOS and Primavera P6. Working with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, Project Controls, Engineers, and Field Leadership, you will ensure work is planned and sequenced safely, efficiently, and in alignment with contractual milestones.
Ledcor’s self-performing model provides schedulers with visibility into construction logic and field progress across pipeline spreads, including clearing, grading, stringing, bending, welding, non-destructive examination, coating, lowering-in, backfilling, hydrostatic testing, tie-ins, restoration, facilities, and commissioning.
This role offers exposure to linear construction, multi-spread coordination, environmental and access constraints, and long-term execution strategies. It is ideal for an experienced scheduler who can translate field plans into practical time-location and critical path schedules that support informed decisions and predictable outcomes.
At Ledcor, planning is a core driver of project success. You will join a team that values collaboration, accountability, and pride in building essential infrastructure.
If you are ready to shape how pipeline work is planned and executed, your next opportunity starts here.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and control detailed pipeline construction schedules using TILOS and Primavera P6, from early planning through project completion
  • Build and maintain time-location schedules that clearly illustrate pipeline spread movement, production rates, work fronts, crew flow, and geographic constraints
  • Establish pipeline construction logic and sequencing with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, Field Leadership, and Project Controls
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, access, environmental, construction, testing, commissioning, and restoration activities into cohesive schedules
  • Track field progress and update TILOS and P6 schedules to reflect quantities, productivity, constraints, and forecast completion dates
  • Identify critical path activities, schedule risks, crew conflicts, access limitations, and potential delays; recommend mitigation and recovery strategies
  • Align TILOS time-location plans with the Primavera P6 master schedule, including logic, milestones, progress, and forecasting
  • Develop look-ahead schedules, production curves, progress reports, schedule narratives, and visual time-location reporting
  • Collaborate with Project Controls on progress measurement, quantity tracking, forecasting, earned value, and schedule performance analysis
  • Maintain baselines and evaluate schedule impacts from scope changes, weather, access restrictions, environmental windows, and field delays
  • Participate in construction coordination meetings, planning sessions, schedule reviews, and client progress meetings
  • Support Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality objectives through realistic sequencing, and assist with schedule close-out

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree, Engineering Technology designation, or equivalent pipeline construction, project controls, or scheduling experience
  • 2+ years of experience in planning and scheduling for pipeline construction projects, with strong knowledge of linear construction and spread-based execution
  • Advanced proficiency with TILOS and Primavera P6, including the ability to integrate time-location schedules with detailed critical path schedules
  • Strong understanding of pipeline construction methods, sequencing, production rates, crew flow, and activities from clearing through commissioning
  • Ability to interpret pipeline alignment sheets, route maps, construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and execution plans
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess schedule impacts, identify trends, and recommend practical solutions
  • Strong communication skills with confidence presenting schedule information to project leadership, field teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic pipeline construction environment

Work Conditions:

  • Site-based position
