Job Description:

  • Drive maintenance and growth of existing and new customer accounts through proactive engagement, including sales calls, jobsite visits, and timely responses to quotations and RFPs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion and new business, including cross-selling services across multiple geographies.
  • Develop and execute an annual sales plan with clearly defined goals and objectives.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers for strategic accounts.
  • Leverage relationships to generate opportunities within the crane and heavy haul industry.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to penetrate new and targeted accounts.
  • Prospect and qualify warm leads to build a robust pipeline.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and job walks with customers to uncover needs and align solutions.
  • Create and deliver tailored proposals and solution presentations to customer decision-making teams.
  • Respond to RFPs, develop potential solutions, estimate costs, and prepare customized proposals.
  • Close sales by selling value, addressing objections, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate front-end project development and collaborate closely with Operations to ensure optimal fleet utilization and successful project execution.
  • Maintain regular two-way communication between clients and internal teams to set clear expectations and ensure compliance with deliverables.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and problem-solver for assigned accounts, managing communications, conflict resolution, and revenue goals.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Proven track record of business development results including prospecting new business and closing profitable work.
  • Skilled in identifying, approaching, presenting and building relationships with decision makers within a complex sales environment. Must be comfortable with all levels from field craft to executives.
  • Mechanically inclined with basic understanding of specialty rigging, heavy lifting, and transportation execution
  • Experience with motivating and leading a sale group
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of or ability to learn IFS (ERP/CRM).
  • Requires frequent travel to customer sites.

Education – Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or sufficient experience required.

Experience – Three to five years of experience preferably in industrial sales, construction, manufacturing, or professional services. And the skills to be a self-starting and self-motivated sales professional.

Skills Required

  • Proven track record of business development, prospecting new business, and closing profitable work
  • Ability to identify, approach, present to, and build relationships with decision-makers in complex sales environments
  • Comfort communicating with field craft employees through executive-level decision-makers
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of specialty rigging, heavy lifting, and transportation execution
  • Experience motivating and leading a sales group
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn IFS ERP/CRM
  • Bachelor's degree
