Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and directs a single large project or multiple projects within a department or business unit.
- Manages all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design.
- Develops and maintains parameters for project requirements.
- Provides direction to contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Coordinates input from and participation with various other departments within the Company as needed to meet project objective.
- Analyzes and determines regulatory impacts and requirements of the project.
- Builds business cases and justifications for projects designed to improve business processes and/or efficiency.
- Provides team/project goals and evaluates performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Required: Typically requires 5 years of related experience.
- Required: Ability to develop integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, and resources.
- Required: Ability to lead cross-functional project teams without formal authority.
- Required: Ability to manage project scope and change within defined parameters.
- Required: Knowledge of project management frameworks and delivery practices.
- Required: Knowledge of stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
- Required: Skill in applying formal project controls and reporting practices.
- Required: Skill in identifying and assessing project risks and dependencies.
Skills Required
