The Role

Amentum is a leading provider of engineering, scientific, and program management support services. We are at the forefront of breakthrough technology development and demonstration programs in multiple areas, including hypersonics, Unmanned Air Vehicle and Autonomous Systems, advanced sensors, propulsion, aircraft, and space science systems.

We are currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic, Project Coordinator to support our efforts with the Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The contractor shall support Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA) as the Project Coordinator supporting the NIA Director of Acquisition and Contracts.
  • Policy review, contract management, business process standardization, training, requirement management, and DAWIA program implementation.
  • Provide support for business transformation efforts and modernization of acquisition process.
  • Support the use of NIA’s Requirements and Procurement Management System (RPMS), to include ensuring acquisition data in the tool is complete and accurate.
  • Schedule and track Naval Acquisition Development Program.
  • Schedule and track Defense Acquisition University training.
  • Schedule and track training.
  • Support records management activities.
  • Provide direct support for a Senior Executive (Government) and Senior Project/Program Manager (CENTRA Technology, Inc.), as well as the team.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI Clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years in a related Government or business field in role responsible for program/project coordination, policy review and writing, and training overview and coordination.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills (both written & Oral).
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with multiple, overlapping deadlines.
  • Be able to problem-solve and think critically.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work within a team structure and with senior leadership.
  • US Citizenship Required.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications (Not Required, but helpful to have)

  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience using programs based on the ServiceNow platform
  • CAPM or PMP from Project Management Institute (PMI) desirable.
  • Experience using data and metrics to track progress and provide reports to senior executives.
  • Experience within a governmental acquisitions and contracting space.
