Job Overview

The Project Planner will play a vital role in supporting the Project Execution team within the EMEA region, based in the Treviglio office. This position will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely delivery of milestones throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Planner will collaborate closely with regional Project Managers and cross-functional teams to identify potential risks, track progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Key responsibilities include coordinating scheduling activities, preparing progress reports, and updating project timelines to reflect current status. The Project Planner will also assist in resource allocation, communicate schedule impacts to team, and help drive continuous improvement in project planning processes. Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules to ensure timely achievement of milestones and compliance with contract requirements and agreed-upon deadlines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate scheduling activities and collaborate with regional Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify potential risks, proactively anticipate obstacles, and implement corrective actions to prevent project delays.
  • Prepare progress reports and update project timelines to reflect the current status.
  • Create, distribute, and proactively update project trackers to provide clear visibility of deliverables and deadlines.
  • Assist in resource allocation to support effective project execution.
  • Communicate schedule impacts and changes to the team with strong and consistent communication to keep projects on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project planning processes.
  • Utilize strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to ensure project success.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Required Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills; strong analytical abilities; effective communication skills in both Italian and English; proficiency in project management software (such as Microsoft Project or Primavera); attention to detail and ability to work under pressure; collaborative mindset and adaptability to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project scheduling, coordination, or management within Italy, preferably in engineering, construction, or related sectors; proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously; experience working with Italian public or private sector clients is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited Italian or European university; additional certifications in project management (such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) are highly desirable.
