A role at Target Printing Services (TPS) means becoming part of a dynamic team that drives the strategy of internal partners such as Marketing and Store Operations through print and kitting projects. The TPS team has a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to planning, press, fulfillment, and distribution, enabling us to positively impact guest and team member experiences while embodying Target’s core values.
As a Project Planner you play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of all projects produced at Target Printing Services (TPS). In this role you will work closely with Account Manager and Project Managers to plan print projects in the most cost-effective manner using Monarch Estimating and Planning software; creating estimates, job tickets, and purchase orders to execute work. You will determine kitting requirements, make important decisions that affect the efficiencies of end-to-end kitting handwork executed by the production team and the presentation of the final product for the customer. This role is also responsible for writing detailed work instructions to ensure clear understanding and successful execution by TPS production teams. You will coordinate the ordering of materials, problem-solving to determine viable alternative solutions and communicating them to the Project Manager and Account Executive in the instance that the initially requested materials are not available. If outside services are needed for a job, you are responsible for determining the best vendor option based on weighing multiple factors and coordinating the pieces of the project that need to go outside, still adhering to all final deadlines and cost.

About you:
- 4-Year degree in related field and/or 5 years’ experience in print environment
- Experience working in the printing industry with knowledge in print production, planning and sales
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment through multiple projects and details and make strategic decisions by weighing a number of factors
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Proven track record of building strong, productive, trusting partnerships/relationships
