- Lead and manage automotive telematics projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Japanese and global teams, facilitating seamless communication and coordination.
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, customers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment.
- Develop and track project schedules, risks, and mitigation plans to ensure successful execution.
- Drive agile and waterfall project methodologies based on project needs.
- Monitor project performance, report progress, and provide strategic recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to automotive standards and compliance requirements.
- Handle change management and issue resolution, proactively addressing challenges in project execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive software project management, preferably in the telematics domain.
- Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) is a must.
- Strong knowledge of automotive software development lifecycle (ASPICE, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, etc.).
- Experience working with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or automotive software vendors.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional team collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Experience working with Japanese automotive companies.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, connectivity solutions, and telematics frameworks.
