JOB SUMMARY:
· For now this is a temporary full time 4 month assignment with possibility for extension.
· Only local candidates will be considered and in-person interviews will be required.
· Duties would include a blend of business analysis and PM work.
· One task would be to finish implementing a project to go live with a new cloud based financial transparency and analytics tool, as well as help another PM with requirements collection for a new image capture solution we will be implementing this year in conjunction with an upgrade to our content management system.
· The ideal candidate will have a mix of good BA and PM skills, be eager and open to helping out here and there where needed, and have a PMP certification with some type of agile cert preferred.

ROLES:
· The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to defined timelines and within the allocated budget.
· The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that business and end users are consulted with and their input garnered for the project at hand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for assisting agency executive management, division directors, and information technology (IT) staff and leading project tasks, resources, including personnel and deliverables.
· Use appropriate project management tools, reports, templates, mentoring, training, and coaching to IT project teams.
· Work directly with agency staff, as well as vendors and, when necessary, other state agencies in fulfilling and carrying out the requirements of assigned IT projects.
· Utilize project management best practices, including risk management, quality management, change management, change control and communication.
· Manage by providing leadership, collaboration, supervision, training, guidance and support to all IT project team members on assigned projects.
· Lead the effort for ensuring agency compliance with the State’s project management policies and standards.

Skills Required
- Local to Golden, CO and able to attend face-to-face interviews and work on-site
- PMP certification
- Agile certification (Scrum, PMI-ACP or similar)
- Project management experience including planning, execution, risk, change, and quality management
- Business analysis experience, requirements collection and stakeholder engagement
- Experience working with vendors and coordinating with other state agencies
- Data analysis skills
- Contract negotiation and proposal writing experience
- Experience with cloud-based software implementations and CMS-related projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
