Job Summary
The Project Manager organizes, manages, and plans all phases of their assigned projects and ensures results meet the needs of the client. Will coordinate schedules with the Senior Project Managers to conduct fieldwork, and review reports and vendor invoices for projects. Will support the Senior Project Manager and Operations Integrator with various tasks, as assigned. Communicate with customers and provide great customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management: Ensures that team members have the required information and resources to complete projects in a timely manner in accordance with applicable quality, safety, and environmental standards. Perform project management tasks as assigned by a Senior Project Manager.
Project Budget Management: Tracks the financial status of projects to ensure they are completed within the budget as assigned.
Training and Development: Provides onboarding training to new employees, assist with the mentor program, and completes audits of field staff regularly, as assigned.
Project Work: Writes and reviews reports, organizes schedules, completes tasks, and ensures that all necessary documentation is completed In a timely manner.
Quality Control: Participates in the Quality Control Program for asbestos air monitoring.
Problem Solving: Utilizes critical thinking skills and a team-based communication approach to solve problems.
Resource Management: Ensures that the necessary equipment and supplies are available for projects.
Communications: Clearly communicates with customers, coworkers, and subcontractors to answer questions, solve problems, and resolve conflicts.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, biology, environmental health, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
3-5 years of field experience as an industrial hygienist, field technician, or management of asbestos and other hazardous building materials projects/programs or other related field.
Accredited in one of the following as a minimum: Asbestos Inspector, Management Planner, and Asbestos Project Designer.
Completion of NIOSH 582 or equivalent training.
40-hour Contractor Supervisor training is desired.
Physical Requirements
You may be required to stand, walk, climb, etc., to inspect projects thoroughly.
Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be capable and willing to wear appropriate personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
Work Environment
Depending on the day and project, it may vary from outdoor work to inside.
Occasionally exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
Frequents construction sites and existing buildings undergoing renovations.
Exposed to potential hazards from construction sites and associated equipment as well as potentially hazardous materials while collecting test samples.
Travels to multiple project sites.
