Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to manage projects and programs and build business with existing clients. This position could reside at one of BE’s offices or at a client facility.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Lead for developing project execution plans for managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
- Manage the project team and ensure compliance with client, project, and internal standards and goals
- Manage and report on project resources assigned by the Discipline Department Managers
- Manage and report on project budget and progress
- Primary point of communication between BE and the Client and all contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc.
- Business Development
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve and expand business with existing clients
- Develop proposals and estimates
- Build client relationships between the Client Team and BE Team
- Understand client trends and needs, coordinate with BE Management
- Understand BE services and communicate with the client
- Support business development activities
- Other
- Report on project status, financial status, issues, opportunities, and risks
- Internal coordination on project resources across departments and other projects.
- Advance company goals and objectives
- Mentor project and discipline engineers and other project team members
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferred)
- Experience:
Min Yr = 10
Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects preferred
- Technical Skills:
Background in project development and execution for the oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy & power, and manufacturing industries
- Management:
Experienced in leading the commercial interface with clients, and leading internal teams for project/program execution.
- Other Skills:
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects.

Skills Required
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil)
- 10+ years of engineering consulting experience supporting oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy & power, and manufacturing industries
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Background in project development and execution
- Experience leading teams
- Experience as a client manager or client-facing project lead
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects
- Ability to meet client-specific site requirements including physical mobility, lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, confined spaces, and wearing required PPE
- Ability to adhere to client random drug testing and facial hair safety policies
- Experience with budget control, invoicing, and financial responsibility for projects
