Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will organize, manage and plan complex projects for the organization’s research , development and product implementation efforts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Installation Teams
  

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications and with accuracy and efficiency
  

• Inspect job sites of each installation crew and correct as needed.  Accountable to technician assessments of potential solar installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements
  

• Accompany crews on job sites to ensure quality and improve techniques
  

• Communicate and coordinate with sales manager on a regular basis
  

• Serve as a point of contact for customers/clients during each installation
  

• Coordinate with corporate departments on a daily basis, provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting
  

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize risk
  

• Coordinate of permitting for installations
  

• Provide progress reports and other status updates to management team
  

• Ensure the safety of the staff by holding weekly trainings/meetings
  

• Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  

• 3+ years of solar energy experience 
  

• Experience with a customer relationship management system (CRM)
  

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing
  

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time
