Torch Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to join our team and provide acquisition, sustainment, and financial support for the E-6B Mercury strategic airborne command post aircraft. This role supports the Air Vehicle Flight Deck Avionic Systems (FDAS) Integrated Product Team (IPT) in managing program requirements, procurement activities, and long-term system sustainment.
As a Project Manager, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Provide sustainment, acquisition, and financial support to the E-6B Air Vehicle Flight Deck Avionic Systems (FDAS) IPT
Analyze program requirements, status, budgets, and schedules to support program objectives and execution
Collaborate with program office Contract Specialists and Procurement Contracting Officers on acquisition and contracting efforts
Develop and process acquisition documentation including SOWs, SOOs, CDRLs, technical evaluations, and procurement packages
Support procurement planning and execution, including managing PIDs, PPAs, and Procurement Planning Conferences (PPCs)
Facilitate and track spend plans using CSPT and align SPID entries with IPT strategy and contract execution
Track program/project status, procurement activities, and schedules, and report updates to leadership
Support acquisition strategy development, program reviews, and recommend solutions to reduce program risk
Apply NAVAIR and OSD acquisition policies and processes for planning, budgeting, and program execution
Support IPT operations including scheduling meetings, conducting data calls, analyzing data, and maintaining program documentation
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of relevant experience in program/project management, acquisition, or DoD program support
Active Secret security clearance required (must be able to maintain)
Experience supporting aircraft, weapons systems, or DoD acquisition programs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in DoD, federal, or defense program environments
Preferred Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience processing procurement documentation
Experience supporting ACAT I programs, acquisition reviews, and cost analysis
Familiarity with CSPT, PMT, PID planning, and procurement tracking tools
Experience working with NAVAIR and OSD acquisition processes and guidance
Experience supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and government stakeholders
Strong technical documentation, briefing, and reporting experience
Advanced degree or relevant certifications in acquisition, program management, or related field
Schedule: M-F; 8-5

Salary Range - MD: $120,000- $140,000
