Job Summary: 

As a Project Manager at Avantiico, you will be responsible for overseeing small to mid-sized customer engagements (typically 75–250 hours) that often serve as a client’s first interaction with Avantiico. These engagements include solution takeovers, Microsoft Solution feature remediation, performance improvements, and training initiatives. Your role blends billable project management, solution scoping, and early relationship development that lays the foundation for long-term client success. You will also be responsible for two internal projects tied to strategic software implementation and business process improvements. 

This position requires strong project delivery acumen and the ability to guide engagements from kick-off to scoping and planning through execution and closure. A key aspect of the role is ensuring a structured transition of clients into longer-term Avantiico service models, such as Managed Services, ongoing project delivery, or ISV solution adoption (e.g., 3PL Billing Automation, Data Migration Accelerator, Multi-Company Automation).

This will be a work-from-home position, based in Southern California, when not on-site for customer engagements, projects or Company events. This position has a 25% annual travel expectation. To be fully effective in this role, we are seeking candidates based in Southern California.


Responsibilities:


Project Delivery & Execution

  • In close collaboration with the CEO, lead the planning, scheduling and the project execution working with Avantiico departments and team members across two strategic initiatives (cross company business requirements and customer collaboration platform and internal business process automation)
  • Lead planning, scheduling, resource coordination, onboarding and execution of bridge plan projects and Avantiico clients.
  • Manage client as well as Avantiico strategic portfolio project budgets, timelines, and deliverables with a focus on predictable, high-quality outcomes.
  • Track and report on engagement progress, escalating risks and issues while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs into Managed Services or larger project teams when appropriate.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Act as the end-to-end project manager for assigned Avantiico projects.
  • Act as the project delivery owner for new and select existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during bridge plan engagements, ensuring project clarity, responsiveness, and delivery quality.
  • Build trust by addressing customer pain points, identifying solution requirements, and ensuring successful resolution of initial needs.

Technical & Solution Alignment

  • Cross team collaboration with Avantiico Delivery Team and Consulting (such as with Solution Architects) as well as Avantiico Sales, to validate scope and align project delivery to customer requirements.
  • Aggregate and frame knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain, and Company ISV solutions) to frame solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Communicate technical capabilities and business value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Representing the office of the CEO for specific projects, collaborate with Avantiico departments and stakeholders as well as external stakeholders across all phases of project delivery
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success team on work order scoping, including proposal development and Statement of Work (SOW) creation, and estimates.
  • Collaborate with Avantiico Services Management, Project Managers, and Managed Services to align delivery planning, resource needs, and skillsets.
  • Support internal knowledge transfer and project continuity by documenting requirements, risks, and delivery artifacts.

Governance & Standards

  • Enforce project delivery methodologies and contribute to the refinement of Avantiico’s delivery standards and consulting practices.
  • Applies and upholds agreed project standards using Microsoft LCS, Microsoft DevOps, Seer365 and GYDE365, Microsoft Business Process Library, Microsoft FastTrack and other relevant implementation tools
  • Ensure engagements follow agreed frameworks for scope, budget, and communication.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, project handoffs, and client satisfaction.

Continuous Learning & Development

  • Stay up to date on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, Avantiico ISV solutions, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Contribute insights from customer engagements back to Sales and Services teams to strengthen Avantiico’s delivery models and build the opportunity pipeline.
  • Additionally, this role will assist in pre-sales/marketing activities including but not limited to producing written content, short videos, webinars, and in-person presentations.
  • Require traveling up to 25% or sometimes more depending on project needs and phases.
  • Complete and maintain required Microsoft certification(s) as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in technology consulting or professional services delivery, preferably within a Microsoft Partner environment and or consulting / B2B SaaS organization
  • Proven experience in project management and delivery of technology projects (scoping, planning, execution, closure).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 productivity and project management tools (DevOps, Office suite)
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements while maintaining high delivery standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT, or related field.
  • Agile/Scrum delivery experience preferred.
  • Understanding of Microsoft licensing models (Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, ISV) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to work from a home office and follow working from home best practices.
  • Travel requirements 25% annually for client or company engagements.
