The Role

Project Manager responsible for the delivery of agreed solutions for Logicalis customers, ensuring projects are implemented and managed within agreed scope, budget and timelines. This role requires strong governance, stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen, particularly in government environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project management: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closure following PMO standards.

  • Accurate project reporting including financial forecasting, billing and revenue recognition.

  • Resource management and timesheet approvals.

  • Traffic light reporting and proactive management of ‘amber’ and ‘red’ projects.

  • Escalate significant issues to National Practice Manager and PMO for resolution.

  • Actively contribute to PMO team meetings, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Success in this role means:

  • Delivering complex, multi-practice technology projects for demanding clients.

  • Supporting junior PMs and contributing to SOW creation and review.

  • Maintaining strong communication and visibility across stakeholders.

  • Making commercially sound decisions that positively impact gross margin.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in IT services or systems integration.

  • Extensive experience delivering projects within government environments (state or federal).

  • Proven track record managing complex technology projects across areas such as data centre, cloud, modern workplace or networking.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid understanding of project management frameworks and tools, including scheduling, budgeting, risk and change control.

Desirable

  • Relevant degree or diploma in business, information technology or project management.

  • Industry certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent.

  • Understanding of the sales cycle within a services organisation.
